Studio Hire — Your Creative Space

Elevate your practice with exclusive access to the Posy Ceramics Studio. Our studio hire option is perfect for makers wanting uninterrupted time to create, refine their skills, or work on personal ceramic projects in a beautifully curated, calming environment. Whether you’re preparing for a market, continuing pieces from a previous class, or simply craving a quiet creative escape, the studio becomes yours to explore and work alongside us.

What’s Included

Enjoy full access to our pottery wheels* , hand-building tools, underglazes & equipment, studio tables, and a serene creative atmosphere designed to support focused, inspired work. Clay can be purchased in-studio for $30 per 10kg bag and kiln firing can be added for an additional fee depending on the size, quantity, and firing type required.

As we only have two pottery wheels in our studio hire bookings will be booked separately here for those who wish to use the wheels.

Studio hire is self-directed, perfect for those with prior clay experience or returning students who feel confident working independently.

What to Expect

You’ll work at your own pace in a quiet, supportive environment. While this is an unsupervised session, a Posy team member will always be present in the studio for safety and general assistance - but we are not there to teach. You’ll be responsible for setting up your workspace and cleaning it at the end of your session.

You will be required to transport your pieces to and from the studio unless discussed otherwise.

Firing can be arranged through the studio, with turnaround times dependent on kiln scheduling.

1-Hour Session: $20

2.5 Hour Session: $45

Half-Day (4 hours): $60

Full-Day (8 hours): $110

Clay - 10kg Bag of Mid Fire White Clay $30
Discounted Bisque & Glaze Firings - per kilo to be assessed at time of firing.
