Mini Potters - School Holiday Pottery Program

Join in this school holidays for our Mini Potters Workshop for Kids & Teens ages 10 - 17!

In this Pottery Workshop your child will have the chance to try all forms of pottery - wheel throwing, Hand Building & pottery painting!

In this 2 hour session your child will attempt 3 pottery creations - a wheel thrown, hand built and a bisque painted ceramic creation. During the session you child will be guided by our teachers and have an instructional lesson on how to use the pottery wheel and then have independent time to sculpt & paint on a pre made ceramic piece.

+ What you will make in the 2 hour session - 30 min Wheel Throwing & 1.5hr Hand Building & Pottery Painting 
• your child can choose ONE of the pieces they make on the wheel to get fired with choice of glaze (any additional pieces to have fired are $10)
• will have their sculpted creation fired
• can choose one piece of Pre Made Pottery to Paint with colourful underglazes OR paint their own piece made in the hand building section

Due to unusually busy kiln schedule the pieces will be ready to pick up between 2-3 weeks following your class or posted to your home for an additional $15. 

The pieces are functional and can be put in the dishwasher / microwave.
