Mother’s Day – Make a Vase Workshop

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a beautifully considered, hands-on clay experience. In this special 2-hour workshop, you’ll craft your own bespoke ceramic vase from start to finish — a meaningful piece designed to hold flowers and memories for years to come.

With gentle, step-by-step guidance, you’ll explore hand building techniques to shape and form your vase, adding your own personal details and style. Whether you prefer something minimal and timeless or textured and expressive, your piece will be entirely your own.

What to Expect
This workshop is thoughtfully designed for beginners while still inspiring for those with experience. The atmosphere is warm, social, and relaxed perfect for coming solo, with friends, or sharing the experience with Mum.

We’ll gather around the table, enjoy music, conversation, and the simple joy of creating something by hand.

What Will I Make?
You’ll work with premium white midfire clay to create:
• one medium-sized vase
• or a smaller, more detailed sculptural vessel

Each piece is completely unique, we provide the guidance, you bring your vision to life.

What Happens Next?
After the workshop, your vase will remain in the studio for drying and kiln firing. You can choose to:

• return in 2 weeks for a Glaze Your Own Pottery session to add colour and detail

• have your vase professionally glazed in one of our signature finishes, ready for collection or shipping within approximately 3 weeks

All pieces are fully functional, watertight, and designed for everyday use.

BYO
Our studio is BYO, feel free to bring along your favourite drinks. There will be a small grazing board provided by us to make the experience even more special.
