Lesbian Monthly Clay Club - August

This event is a safe, welcoming + non-judgemental space for queer-identifying folks and allies who want to learn basic ceramics skills run by Queer Artist and owner of Posy Ceramics - Emily. By coming together to work with clay, we practice embodiment and self-care within a new community allowing us to express our creativity while engaging in meaningful friendships. 

In this Hand Building Workshop we focus on creating a ceramic photo frame (byo Polaroids or film strips from home) & sculpting carabiner charms! Emily will be guiding the session with instructions ane tips on how to achieve your ceramic creations but you are welcome to take your own journey.

+ Lesson Length
In this 2 hour session you'll have plenty of time to perfect your very own ceramic creations. It's fun, social and everyone will end up with a finished something (well almost finished).

You will have the option to come back at the end of the month to glaze all of your creations with colourful underglazes & glazes before its final firing in the kiln to make it shiny and functional - microwave & dishwasher safe! Don’t want to come back? Leave them with us to do for you!

The venue is BYO so you can bring whatever bevvies (or no alc) that you'd 'like! .
There is no food provided in the session but you’re welcome to bring snacks!

Class sizes are strictly limited and you must be Over +18 to attend.
