Sip & Sculpt Workshop

Make your own clay creation from start to finish in our Clay Class!

In this 2 hour Hand Building Workshop we focus on form and skills to make your very own clay vessel - the final product is completely up to you! You will be guided by Emily (owner of Posy Ceramics) in the two skills of Pinch Pot and Slab Building which you will then use to sculpt your final pieces, be it a mugs, bowl, vase, dog bowl, dishes…it’s completely up to you!

+ What to expect from your first Posy Workshop
All workshops are beginner friendly and do not require any prior knowledge of ceramics, but if you have prior experience it’s also catered to all levels too! It's fun, social and everyone will end up with a finished functional ceramic creation. Lots of attendees come alone so don’t be scared if you don’t have a friend to bring along with you ! We all sit together, listen to tunes and share stories and laughs! 

+ What can I make?
You will have 600grams of stoneware white clay make with in this clay class. From past classes that is enough to make for example ; one mug + a plate, or a medium vase, or a bunch of small trinket dishes! These pieces will then be bisqued fired and you have the choice to return for a painting class where you can decorate your piece with underglazes!

Each session starts with a complimentary glass of bubbles and access to tea and coffee but the venue is BYO so you can bring whatever bevvies (or non-alc) that you'd like!

Class sizes are strictly limited and you must be Over +18 to attend (unless stated otherwise)
