Slow down and celebrate love in our Valentine’s Edition 1.5-hour Paint a Heart Plate / Wall Hanging Workshop. This relaxed, creative session invites you to paint and personalise a pre-made ceramic heart - a sentimental keepsake designed to be displayed, gifted, or treasured at home.

With gentle, step-by-step guidance, you’ll explore underglaze painting techniques to bring your design to life, layering colour, patterns, and details that make your piece truly personal.

What to Expect

This workshop is welcoming for complete beginners and quietly inspiring for those with experience. The atmosphere is cosy, romantic, and unhurried — perfect for couples, close friends, or anyone wanting to spend a slow, creative afternoon together.

We gather around the table, enjoy dreamy music, and sip a signature Valentine’s Day matcha, generously provided by Mugi Matcha, while painting something made from the heart.

What Will I Make?

You’ll be painting one ceramic heart, which can be finished as either:
• a decorative plate
• or a heart wall hanging

Your piece can be:
• hand-painted with colours, patterns, or illustrations
• personalised with words, dates, or symbols
• finished with holes for hanging (if choosing the wall hanging option)

Each piece is completely unique — minimalist or detailed, playful or poetic. We provide the tools, materials, and guidance while you bring your vision to life.

What Happens Next?

After the workshop, your piece will remain in our studio to be glazed and kiln-fired. Your finished heart will be ready for:

• pickup or shipping within 3 weeks

Once fired, your piece becomes a lasting reminder of time spent slowing down, creating, and celebrating love.

Whats included?

For our Valentines Clay special workshops we are teaming up with Mugi to Matcha to create a signature Turkish Delight iced Matcha for all attendees to enjoy. To sweeten the experience, the legends at Rude Boy Doughnuts are crafting custom doughnuts especially for us!
