Enjoy an intimate and immersive pottery wheel experience designed for you and your favourite people. Whether it’s a romantic date night, a double date, a birthday celebration or a creative catch-up with friends, this 1.5-hour private session is the perfect opportunity to slow down, get your hands muddy and create something special together.

With four pottery wheels available, our private sessions accommodate 2–4 guests, with each person enjoying their very own wheel and personalised guidance throughout.

If you’ve been curious about pottery but aren’t quite ready to commit to a full course, this mini-masterclass is the perfect place to begin.

What to Expect

In this intimate, hands-on experience, you’ll learn the foundational skills of wheel throwing with step-by-step guidance from our experienced ceramic artists.

Together, you’ll explore the fundamentals of centering clay, opening the form, pulling walls and shaping your very own ceramic vessels.

Throughout the session, you'll work towards creating a beautiful two-piece jewellery set, featuring a delicate ring dish and a matching jewellery bowl. Experiment with different shapes, curves and sizes to make a set that feels uniquely yours.

Wheel throwing takes time to master, but with plenty of encouragement, laughter and a little patience, you’ll be creating your own handmade pottery in no time.

At the end of your workshop, each guest will select two of their favourite handmade pieces for our team to trim, fire and finish.

After your session, your pieces will remain in our studio to be carefully dried, trimmed and fired in our kiln

No worries! Additional pieces can be kept and fired for just $15 each.

What You'll Make

Each guest will work towards creating their very own two-piece ceramic jewellery set, featuring:

A Ring Dish: A delicate little dish to keep your favourite rings, earrings and everyday treasures safe.
A Jewellery Bowl: A beautiful handmade bowl for storing necklaces, bracelets and other precious pieces.

Each guest will have their own pottery wheel, so you can experiment, explore different shapes and create at your own pace.

Your finished jewellery set will make a beautiful addition to your bedside table, dressing table or bathroom vanity. It also makes a thoughtful handmade gift for someone special.

Remember, this is an introductory experience, so perfection isn't the goal. The wonky pieces often have the most character!

Our studio has four pottery wheels, meaning we can accommodate 2, 3 or 4 guests per private session.

Beginner Friendly

Absolutely no pottery experience is necessary!

Our private sessions are designed for complete beginners, with personalised instruction and plenty of hands-on assistance throughout.

If you've tried the wheel before, our instructors can also help you refine your technique and experiment with new forms.

BYO Drinks & Snacks

Make an occasion of it! Our studio is BYO, so you're welcome to bring along your favourite drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, and some snacks to enjoy during your session.

We provide glassware and a small fridge for your convenience.

Please note that alcoholic beverages are strictly for guests aged 18 and over.
