Create a Love Mug 

Slow down and celebrate love in our Valentine’s Edition 1.5-hour Love Mug Workshop. This intimate hand-building session invites you to shape a ceramic mug from raw clay — a functional keepsake designed to be held, used, and treasured long after Valentine’s Day.

With gentle, step-by-step guidance, you’ll explore beginner-friendly pinch pot and slab-building techniques to form your mug, add a handle, and personalise your piece with texture, patterns, or meaningful details.

What to Expect

This workshop is welcoming for complete beginners and quietly inspiring for those with experience. The atmosphere is cosy, romantic, and unhurried - perfect for couples, close friends, or anyone wanting to spend a slow, creative afternoon together.

We gather around the table, enjoy dreamy music, and sip a signature Valentine’s Day matcha, generously provided by Mugi to Matcha, while creating your perfect Love Mug. 

What Will I Make?

You’ll work with premium white midfire clay, enough to create:
• one ceramic mug
• complete with a hand-built handle
• finished with delicate textures, impressions, or lettering

Each mug is completely unique, minimalist or detailed, playful or poetic. We provide the guidance, while you infuse your piece with intention, love, and your own personal touch.

What Happens Next?

After the workshop, your piece will remain in our studio to be carefully kiln-fired. You can choose to:

• return in approximately 2 weeks for a Glaze Your Own Pottery underglaze or painting session to colour your heart 

or

• have your piece professionally glazed in one of our signature colour options ready for pickup or shipping within 3 weeks

Once fired, your wall hanging becomes a lasting reminder of time spent creating something meaningful.

Whats included?

For our Valentines Clay special workshops we are teaming up with Mugi to Matcha to create a signature Turkish Delight iced Matcha for all attendees to enjoy. To sweeten the experience, the legends at Rude Boy Doughnuts are crafting custom doughnuts especially for us!
